Decision intelligence for markets that settle in real time.

geodapp is a venture and applied-AI studio. It builds decision platforms for place-based markets, where settlement can't wait: energy, broadband, digital assets. Current research focus: real-time clearing on the XRP Ledger.

Thirty years turning high-stakes problems into products that last.

Markets rooted in geography. Energy grids. Broadband footprints. Locational pricing. Where a thing sits decides what it's worth.

dapp

Decentralized applications. Peers transact directly. Settlement runs on trust-minimized rails, not through an intermediary.

Multiply them and you get the bet: place-based markets are headed toward direct peer settlement on trust-minimized rails, energy first, and they will need decision intelligence to work. geodapp builds for that shift. The name came first, in 2021. The work grew into it.

Exploring the infrastructure layer for the onchain economy.

My research asks one question: can XRPL's payment channels, atomic swaps, tokenization primitives, RLUSD, and on-ledger DEX support marketplaces where peers transact directly within regulatory guardrails. The requirements are architectural, not optional: deterministic finality, programmable compliance, and token-based value exchange. Applied context: micropayments and peer-to-peer energy settlement. The goal: bring regulated, place-based markets onto XRPL rails, energy first. Ripple takes XRPL to institutions; geodapp builds for the layer beneath.

Prior work in this space: co-authored the Dominant Energy whitepaper (2024), a platform architecture for tokenized fractional energy assets, from token lifecycle and smart-contract revenue distribution to GIS-mapped asset views and secondary-market liquidity. The playbook is one I've run before: in the 1990s I helped move pharmaceutical regulatory submissions onto Adobe's PDF (InformationWeek, 1995), and that work is still in production.

XRP Ledger XRPL Micropayments Real-time Settlement Tokenization RLUSD Atomic Swaps DeFi Infrastructure Payment Channels Regulatory Compliance

"The most interesting problems I've worked on share a common structure: high-stakes decisions, real-time data, distributed participants, and a trust layer that doesn't exist yet. XRPL is the first settlement infrastructure I've seen that addresses all four simultaneously — at the speed markets actually require."

XRPL Research

Independent — Blockchain Settlement Architecture

Actively evaluating Ripple's XRP Ledger platform capabilities — payment channels, atomic swaps, tokenization primitives, RLUSD settlement, and on-ledger DEX infrastructure — for incorporation into real-time peer-to-peer settlement architectures.

Assessing how XRPL's deterministic finality and regulatory-compliant transaction framework can power next-generation marketplace infrastructure. Primary applied context: peer-to-peer energy transaction settlement.

Real innovation doesn't expire.

Upcoming Event

Ripple Swell 2026: New York, October 27–29. The XRPL ecosystem's builders and institutional partners in one room. These are the conversations this research is built for.

Seeking design partners for a peer-to-peer energy settlement pilot on XRPL. I've helped a platform ecosystem grow before: built CoreDossier on Adobe's PDF in the 1990s, presented the approach at NIST, and helped move pharmaceutical regulatory submissions onto the format. That work is still in production. XRPL is the same play.
